This testimony has begun during the second ultrasound scanning of our baby, in 18th week of my pregnancy, when doctors found the blood clot in her brain. It took up 1/3rd or 1/4th of her brain. They said it was rare and we should reconsider all the possibilities and decide whether to continue with the pregnancy or not. After this information, me and my husband looked at each other and we knew the answer immediately. Of course, we wanted to continue. It should not be us who will decide if our baby can live because we believe that only Jesus is the Giver and Creator of life.
Despite different thoughts devil was trying to put in my head I tried to focus on Jesus’ voice who made me think about a specific verse from the Bible from John 14, 6: „ Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me “. So in the prayer we gave our baby to Jesus.
Even though the fear and worries were attacking us during other tests in the hospital, we tried to fully focus on Jesus and give this whole situation to Him. He blessed us with peace and hope because we knew and believed the life of our baby is in His hands and these hands are the most reliable and the best. Every time devil tried to attack us with worries, doubts or other bad things, we tried to focus our thoughts on Jesus through worshiping Him: singing worships songs, reading the Bible, praying or speaking to other people about His amazing power and mercy.
Jesus sent us many amazing people who were and still are praying for us and our small baby and that was also the reason why we felt so peaceful inside thanks to Jesus. But Jesus was working even upon our expectations. He also blessed our whole family with extraordinary peace in this situation and they told me they were feeling God´s presence. We were always trying to remind ourselves about James 1, 13: “When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone”. It also reminded us that we should not be worried because Jesus is bigger than any sickness or problem. Our family and people from a praying group from Slovakia which Jesus leads through our brother Stano were also praying for us. We are joining the praying group online every Wednesday and it is a big blessing for me to spend time with other active Christians in my own language.
We were and are thankful to Jesus every morning that our baby is moving, growing and developing. It is a big miracle and an amazing gift. And we always remind ourselves that there is nothing impossible for Jesus, as evangelist Luke writes in verse 1, 37: “For no word from God will ever fail.”
One Sunday morning, when we were with my husband at our Christian community here in Denmark where we live, God spoke to me while we were singing a worship song: „In any circumstances we should not be worried because Jesus has it in His hands and He will take care of everything.“ At that point I started to cry from happiness and I could hear a voice where Jesus told me to trust Him because He will bless us with a healthy baby. At that point He filled me with His peace and happiness. When I came home, I gave Him all the last hidden worries and I threw away the papers from doctor where was written about all kind of possible effects that the sickness could have on our baby. Because by looking at these papers I was just straying away from Jesus and was focusing on the stormy sea instead of focusing on Jesus – the King of the universe. Now I decided to fully fix my eyes on Jesus and give everything to Him. As when Peter was walking on the stormy sea, he could do it, while looking at Jesus but when he focused on the waves, he started to drown.
In the week 24 of my pregnancy (6 weeks later) we went to the hospital again for a check.
And a BIG MIRACLE HAPPENED. The blood clot became so small that doctors nearly could not find it.
We glorify you Jesus. He healed our child. Thanks to Jesus our small baby is developing good and growing as she should and everything seems to be good. Her and our lives are in Jesus´ hands and we are very thankful to Him. We believe He can lead us through every storm and is filling us with His hope, love and faith.

22.7.2022 Additional information
Thanks to Jesus, our baby’s MRI results showed that Jesus had completely removed all the clots in the brain! Doctors even said that the fact that there was a clot could have consequences for motor skill development. Jesus was glorified here as well. Because when the daughter was about 5 weeks old, she started to turn from her stomach to her back. Usually, children only start doing it around the third month 🙂 Moreover, she is very perceptive, so even doctors can’t understand this miracle 🙂
Nothing is impossible for Jesus, we just have to learn how to receive it by our faith 🙂
