We would love to share a big testimony about how powerful God is with you – to encourage you and strengthen your faith in Christ Jesus. This story is based on medical records and communication with medical staff.
28.8.2022 My friend Mato texted me about his friend Dominik who was hospitalized in Germany for several days. Mato asked us to pray for Dominik because he heard about the healing power of Christ we have experienced many times in our Christian community. At that time, Dominik had already undergone few surgeries and his health condition was very serious. We started to pray in Jesus’ name for his healing.
He only had 5% chance of survival
20.8.2022 The first day of Dominik’s hospitalization. He is a diabetic patient and he lost his consciousness due to extremely high glucose level. They had to resuscitate him for 2 hours which led to intestinal ischemia. His small intestine ruptured and intestinal content leaked into abdominal cavity. This caused sepsis and other severe health problems. We discovered later that he only had 5% chance of survival. Cerebral oedema was confirmed on 22.8.2022.
20.-21.8.2022 Dominik’s girlfriend Vlasta had a dream about him while he was fighting for his life. He was standing near a couch and asked her to help him. She couldn’t fall asleep anymore after that dream. On the following day, she started to investigate what happened during the night. He was supposed to travel back from Germany.
Vlasta found out that he had to be hospitalized in Solingen. This hospital provided accommodation for her so she could stay there and visit him daily.
27.8.2022 Vlasta’s friend Martin, who is a priest, offered a mass in Jerusalem (on the Mount of Olives) for Dominik’s healing.
28.8.2022 Stano and other people from our small Christian community started to pray in Jesus‘ name for Dominik. We have many supernatural experiences about how God saved people who were given no chance by doctors. People from a group on FB which we manage (Power of Effective Biblical Prayers in Practice) also started praying.
29.8.2022 Around noon, Vlasta was contacted by her friend who is sensitive to spirituality. She said she could feel the power of our prayers and saw a strong light from God around Dominik from afar. She also said his health condition improved yesterday evening. We were delighted to hear that and prayed even more.
29.8.2022 In the afternoon, doctors told Vlasta they removed a part of Dominik’s intestine that was damaged by necrosis. They said it was a miracle they didn’t have to remove the whole small intestine. Medical professionals were even surprised that Dominik is still alive after all he went through.
On the same day, Dominik started to breathe on his own without a ventilator.
30.8.2022 Doctors found severe hypoxic brain injury and confirmed awake coma (Apallic syndrome/coma vigile).
30.-31.8.2022 Dominik moved his hands a little bit and could lightly press a hand.
Dominik had to undergo multiple surgeries in a short of time. His temperature was constantly high and his body was fully inflamed. Doctors started to wake him up from artificial sleep. They expected him to have permanent brain damage causing him to not be able to talk or even recover from coma vigile. They said he would probably need an intestinal transplant. We continued to pray for him. Even some members of the medical staff were praying as well.
3.-10.9.2022 Dominik´s father had a chance to spend a few days with him. Due to negative prognoses, he was losing hope.
7.9.2022 Vlasta joined our Christian group online for the first time to grow her faith. She started to build her relationship with Jesus Christ. On the same day, people from the Slovak-Czech Dismas community also started praying for Dominik.
Dominik woke up from an awake coma
10.9.2022 Dominik woke up from awake come while casting out his disease from afar in Jesus’ name! Vlasta visited Dominik at the hospital. She made an agreement with Stano that he would pray for Dominik through her from afar. Stano was casting out the disease from Dominik in the name of Jesus Christ through Vlasta – through her faith (as it is written in the Bible about a healing of the servant – Luke 7/2-10). Dominik suddenly woke up and was fully conscious. He recognized Vlasta and reacted to her. She told him about Jesus, he could feel the power of God and started to cry. He confirmed that during his artificial sleep, he saw God. He was an atheist before the accident. We were all very happy and Dominik’s father had hope again!
Vlasta regularly started to read Stano´s book to Dominik where he could learn about how to receive God’s help and blessings. Booklet – Discovering the Gospel of Jesus Christ Dominik accepted Jesus into his life.
14.9.2022 Dominik’s medical records confirmed that consciousness had improved! However, doctors told Vlasta that Dominik had severe stage 2 sepsis and he probably wouldn’t survive. His face was green/yellow. There was a putrid odor around him. Damaged bowels couldn’t heal mainly because of high glucose level. Purulent discharge wasn’t draining out through special drainage and was cumulating inside his body. He underwent another surgery and, again, he had a fever and was inflamed.
Prayers in Germany
16.-18.9.2022 Me and Stano traveled to Germany during the weekend so we could pray for Dominik in person. People from our prayer group and friend Mato supported us from afar with prayers.
When we arrived, his face was a little bit green. Stano was casting out the disease in Jesus’ name and Dominik could feel God‘s presence and power. His face suddenly changed its color to a normal one and he brightened up. He pressed Stano’s hand and started to move his hands – he couldn’t do it before! He was able to move a little. Due to the tracheostomy tube, he couldn’t talk but agreed to pray to Jesus Christ and thank Him for his healing. He agreed to forgive people, so he would be able to receive healing from God. Purulent intestinal discharge began to drain after the prayer!
Improvement of health status
19.9.2022 On Monday, doctors confirmed that his condition was improving. His situation turned around. Jesus Christ saved Dominik from death! Medical records also confirmed that his mobility was better (as we could see during prayer): “Approximately from the second half of September he has been showing a continuous improvement in the movement of his limbs, so he can perform at least small and targeted movements”
21.9.2022 Dominik moved his hands while Vlasta was reading Stano´s book. The speech therapist confirmed that his health improved. Doctors said he probably wouldn’t need a small intestine transplant! They also confirmed that the brain swelling has subsided, so he doesn´t need brain surgery!! His temperature started to decrease.
22.9.2022 Dominik still couldn’t talk properly because of inserted tracheostomy tube but he was able to move his lips. We are very happy that he started to communicate that way.
23.9.2022 The doctors confirmed the overall improvement of brain health. The extent of tissue damage (lesions) in the gyrus temporalis and in the cerebellum decreased compared to the examination before the prayer in person! The previous examination was on 13.9.2022. No additional infarction/emboli in the brain!
25.9.2022 Dominik’s condition was even better, he was able to sit for the first time.
30.9.2022 Doctors confirmed again that Dominik’s health was still improving and his effort to communicate despite the language barrier is visible.
10.10.2022 The doctors replaced the tracheostomy tube so Dominik could speak for the first time! He was fully conscious and started talking immediately. Vlasta, the doctor, and Dominik´s mother were shocked that he spontaneously started talking. However, the doctor said that he lost his eyesight as was confirmed after the examinations. We began to pray for his eyes.
Transport back to Slovakia
German doctors recommended transporting Dominik to Slovakia. His story also made it to television. In the report, Vlasta and Dominik’s mother kindly asked people to financially support air transport of Dominik to Slovakia. The health insurance company does not reimburse such actions. 18.10.2022 Dominik was transported by plane to a hospital in Kosice (Slovakia). TV Report Report in a Newspaper
On the last day before his departure doctors and other medical staff confessed that they didn`t believe that Dominik would survive because he was in a very critical condition for a long time.
Before the departure, Dominik’s sight was slowly healing. A few weeks after his return home, his vision permanently healed.

We thank Jesus Christ, the Giver of Life, that Dominik got a chance for a new and better life!
