Few years ago, when I started following Christ, I got to experience one of my first testimonies. I was 12 years old at the time. One evening, as I was going to bed, I noticed two small painful lumps in the groin area. I was nervous about it but didn’t mention it to my parents and dealt with it myself.
When I prayed that evening, I put my hands directly on the painful place and was giving thanks to Jesus Christ with all my heart/strength. I told Him if He wants to leave it there, then let me have it. If it’s not His will for me to have it, I’m grateful to be already healed in His name.
„This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. “ (Bible, –1John 5: 14-15)
During the following two days, I kept praying the same way and noticed that the lumps, as well as my pain, disappeared. This happened 4 years ago and thanks to Jesus, it hasn’t come back. After some time, I found out it could’ve been an inguinal hernia or inflammation of the lymph nodes. But I didn’t see any doctor so it wasn’t confirmed. However, I share this testimony to encourage you in your faith because this experience brought me closer to Christ.
I came to conclusion He is my only doctor and when various health problems come – such as toothaches, knee inflammation, fevers, sore throat or digestive problems, this testimony gives me strength to believe nothing is impossible for Christ. Whenever I have a problem, I bring it to Him.
„Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Bible – Matthew 19:26)
