I have a good friend, sister in Christ and also ex-classmate I studied with at the university. She had to repeat the first year. That was the reason why she had to pay expensive tuition for the last year because repeating isn’t covered by the state funded tuition. She was living with her mother at the time that wasn‘t earning high salary so my friend had a great problem to pay.
She asked the school if sending a letter saying she has a financial trouble with payment couldn’t help and lower the total payment. Everywhere they told her it was impossible because her reasons weren‘t sufficient enough. They told her to not even try because it wasn’t approved this easily ever. Her classmate tried the same process unsuccessfully – and he was a student member of the Academic senate where he had some advantages granted.
My friend already knew Lord Jesus Christ and His power so she didn’t lose her faith. We prayed for this situation because only He knows what‘s best for His people. She sent her demand hoping they would lower the final payment. She didn’t care what people were saying.
In the following weeks, she received a letter stating they had forgiven her debt fully. We were so happy we jumped around, cried and thanked Jesus Christ for it!
Christ is a righteous Giver, He sees the hearts of people and their reasons. Christ cares!
