I would like to share how I view my sister in Christ, Petra, her husband Tobi and their beautiful children. We met a few times at a Bible study and prayer group in Brezno. The group is led by Stano, and you can clearly see that God’s power is evident in his life and the whole group. During the summer, I had a chance to participate on a spiritual/healing retreat in Lucatin (a small village in central Slovakia) that was organized by our group (https://zivyjezisvpraxi.sk/
That is why Petra’s family stood out to me. At that time, Theo was 5 years old, Lea was 3, and Luna was 4 months old. The kids were very calm, did not cry at all, and I did not observe any resistance toward their parents – something that is completely normal with other children. Even during lectures presented at the retreat, Petra’s children had their own activities, such as books and building blocks to play with. Their parents could calmly take part in the lectures and fully focus on the topics. Most small children feel insecure around strangers and want to return quickly to their mother. But Petra’s and Tobi’s children were calm in these conditions.
I, as well as many other members of our prayer group, held their 4-month-old daughter Luna in our arms. She was calm and smiling, even with other people. I should add that we had never seen the baby before. I also feel a connection with the peace that both parents radiated. At dinner time, when children usually tend to choose whether they will eat this or that, the whole family was calm. Their children ate everything without refusal.
Other people at the retreat also commented that they had never seen such polite children. It was an unfamiliar environment, a very different routine and food and most people were strangers to the children. It was a testimony of God’s power for everyone, especially for those who have experience with children. Overall, I would confidently describe these children and their parents as the most peaceful family I know and have ever had the opportunity to see.
I also know that the parents have a real relationship with Jesus. They regularly attend the group online (because they live in Denmark), they pray, and they also attend personal prayers with Stano. I am convinced that this is exactly what influences them and the whole family. As a result, every member of their family is peaceful and calm.
When Petra was expecting, we prayed for them from afar because doctors discovered a blood clot in Lea’s brain. Thanks to Jesus, she was healed (https://zivyjezisvpraxi.sk/blood-clot-in-babys-brain/)
When Petra was pregnant again with Luna, she and Tobi went to a baptism ceremony with Stano.

For us, this is a testimony of God’s power and proof that Jesus also helps with raising children when we truly walk with Him.
