I was about to sit two exams from two different languages. It was December and the timing was quite unfortunate – both tests were supposed to take place just 30 minutes apart.
Around the same time, I’d been writing my testimony with Jesus (link here: https://zivyjezisvpraxi.sk/
I was sure because I knew Jesus rewards time spent with Him. To be even more certain, I told about it to a friend because in my experience, Jesus never lets me down and He will acknowledge my confession.
So I started working on it and I felt great joy as He reminded me of things I almost forgot about. After I finally finished the text, I felt very relaxed for the first time in a long time. The process gave me a needed boost to do more. Well, I didn’t even study the whole night, I just did some work in the evening and went to sleep.
On the following morning, the first test wasn’t too hard. I completed it quickly and I still had spare time to go to another class for the second test. Also, I got 91%.
The second test scared me more as I couldn’t attend a single class during the semester due to a collision with another subject in my timetable. I used to study German but not recently and I needed some time to recall even basic stuff. I wasn’t sure what to expect and I didn’t really have a classmate to ask. My own friends were in the same situation with their attendance and I wasn’t friends with other people doing the course. I didn’t have the time to ask, I had no notes and not even a clue what they were practicing during the lessons. At the end of the semester, some classes were cancelled as well, so… two days before the test I got the idea to sent a message to a schoolmate but she was as lost as me. I had some papers but not much.
When I was waiting for the exam, my help arrived! I had a quick thought to ask my classmates some questions and they told me how it was supposed be. The same thing appeared on the test! As we chatted, I said it would be nice if this and that was on the test and… it was! The exam wasn’t that bad, I could remember things I knew before.
Of course – what I expected really happened! I didn’t waste my time when I was writing the testimony: I gained and I even scored an A!
