Vaness felt weak for two days, until she finally became ill. On Friday, her throat began to ache and she had a fever. In the end, she didn’t even go to school. The doctor said it would take a week for her to heal.
On Saturday morning, she took the book „Discovering the Gospel of Jesus Christ“. She wanted to read something for her encouragement. The book explains the Bible, eternal life, and points to the importance of our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
She didn’t even have time to read, she just opened it and started flipping through it and her temperature immediately dropped to 35.4 °C. By faith she accepted God’s healing, as Jesus said, “Look! Your faith has healed you ”(Gospel of Luke 18:42).
She immediately felt much better and even though she was still coughing, her throat did not hurt. The fever did not return to her at all. She read a book and later worked on things for school. Her appetite returned and she was full of energy. In the afternoon, as she prayed, she felt God’s power and God’s presence intensely. She felt as if all evil and sickness had left. The next day she felt so good that she could even work out.
Two days later, we met to pray together. Vaness mentioned that her throat started to ache again. It was very difficult for her to talk because of the cough and the pressure she felt in her throat. Therefore, we also prayed for the healing of her throat. During the prayer, I put one hand on her throat and the other on her back. Like Jesus‘ disciples, they laid hands on the sick. I prayed for lungs cleansing, bronchi healing and healing of her throat. Stano, who wrote the book mentioned above and leads our spiritual community, prayerfully supported us from a distance.
Vaness physically felt the power of God acting on her throat and bronchi. Immediately after the prayer, she felt the airways clearance, the pressure and sore throat were gone. It was much easier for her to talk. She had no problem with that at all. We were very happy.
We thank Jesus Christ for all the blessings we have in Him.
