I attended a funeral where there were also small children. One baby was crying heavily. I asked if I could hold it.

So I took the baby into my arms. They told me it would definitely keep crying with me. As I held it, I started to pray for it. Suddenly, the baby became calm and content.

I remembered Petra and her family from our prayer group, because God’s power visibly works on children in their family like this too. A close relative of the baby even came over and asked how it was possible that it wasn’t crying with me.

So I told her that I was praying for it.
