One evening, I joined an online group with Stano where we read the Bible and pray.

I was walking around in a small park in front of my dorm. Around this time of year, I usually suffer from pollen allergies, and as always, I felt that familiar tickle in my nose, signalling it was coming on again.

My nose started to itch gently, which is typically the onset of progressively worsening allergy symptoms.

Just at that moment, however, the group started discussing the topic of allergies and how God healed people from allergies. I decided to just listen in and stayed outside because the weather was so pleasant. I told myself it was just a slight itch, nothing serious, and that if it got worse, I’d go inside.

I didn’t pray about it at all. I didn’t really dwell on it; I just stayed outside for my own enjoyment and listened to the group.

Meanwhile, I realised that my nose didn’t itch at all anymore. God’s power flowing through the group was working on me. I ended up staying outside for quite a bit longer; no symptoms appeared at all.
