Our son Jurko (2 years old) was sick, taking antibiotics, coughing a lot, and his nose was constantly running. He was sniffing the mucus back every 5 seconds. He had already been on antibiotics for five days, but nothing was changing or improving. He was nervous, didn’t want to eat anything, and kept tossing and turning. He couldn’t sleep at night.
On the fifth day, I started praying a prayer of deliverance for Jurko. Within 5 minutes, he completely calmed down, his nose stopped running, and he started breathing clearly without sniffing! He was so sweet. You could see so clearly how prayer helped him.
Jesus shows us in the Bible how He Himself cast out Satan when He was tempted in the desert after His baptism (Bible – Matthew 4:1-11). In the same way, He showed us examples of how various diseases were removed and people were healed after prayer of deliverance (Bible – Mark 1:34; Matthew chapters 8–10). But because this can be tricky, I’d like to explain.
When I first came to know Jesus years ago, I didn’t pray prayers of deliverance. Over time, I grew in my relationship with Jesus, I became stronger in faith, and I gained many experiences of how God has helped me. After years of walking with Jesus, I first learned to cast out from myself, just as Jesus showed us. Later, I learned to pray this way for my children, stepping into my role as the priest of my family (Bible – Ephesians 5:1–33). This is also how it is taught according to the Bible in the Bible group, which Stano has been leading by God’s grace for many years.
I praise Jesus for the miracles He works in our lives and for how He helps us.
