I am writing this testimony to encourage others and to highlight the power of God’s work, which I’ve personally witnessed.
My four-year-old daughter Dalia has had diabetes for almost two years. Last Friday, around lunchtime, she started having a high fever, headaches, and vomiting (thankfully just once). On Saturday morning, we went to the emergency room. The doctors told us that if her condition didn’t improve by 5:00 PM, we’d have to go to the hospital in Košice. She had ketones in her urine and very high blood sugar, which is a serious condition in diabetes.
Just before lunchtime, I felt prompted to write to Stano, the leader of our prayer group. Later, I also asked the rest of the group to pray for Dalia. It might sound unbelievable, but shortly after Stano started praying, around 1:00 PM, Dalia’s urine was almost clear.
We had experienced something similar back in February, when the ketones disappeared about an hour after Stano began praying.
Because of that, I truly believed that in Jesus, we were already healed.
By the next day, Sunday, Dalia was completely fine.
We totally avoided the hospital! I believe that prayer has great power, especially when it flows through our faith. Jesus never leaves us when we draw close to Him.
