Our neighbour had a bad hatred for cats. He was always talking how he would catch them, and all the mean things he would do to them…… I could not stand this kind of talk. I could easily see his anger against cats was real, and his pleasure to harm them was equally real. I really like animals and I did not want to imagine what would happen to those cats, if he catches them.
One day I was watering our vegetable garden, and also, praying for our harvest, when I heard my neighbour again. He was outside preparing some kind of trap. I was so worried about the cats, that I started to pray for my neighbour. I asked Jesus to change the attitude of this man, towards animals, because I really do not like the suffering of animals. I prayed for this only one time, but it came from my heart.
A few days later our neighbour brought a small kitty to his home! Nobody understood why, but the man was completely changed. He said that he had the chance to rescue, and take this small kitty home, and he did it. He took care of this small creature with so much passion and love, that people around him did not understand what had changed him so much.
When I heard this miracle I was thanking Jesus with all my heart, and with tears in my eyes. Our neighbour still loves his tomcat, he taught him some tricks, and he does not prepare traps for cats anymore.
