During our prayer group, Stano and I prayed for my son Leo, who had been having some difficulties. After that, he completely changed. He stopped crying in kindergarten and became so calm and sweet. He even started praying on his own.
One day I found him in the living room, kneeling on the floor and saying: “Jesus Christ, thank You that my cartoon is starting.” He was so happy. His little hands were folded together, and it was such a beautiful moment.
He was thanking Jesus because his favorite cartoon was about to play on TV. He prayed on his knees because he had seen me pray that way.
Before this, when I prayed in the evenings, I would always ask him if he wanted to pray with me. Most of the time, he said no, but sometimes he joined me. I never force him; I just ask. When he does pray with me, I ask him what he wants to thank God for. He lists toys and things that are important to him. Then I ask if he also wants to thank God for things like having food to eat that day. I never push him, but he listens when I pray.
Now, after we prayed for him in the group, he has visibly changed and started praying on his own initiative.
