A testimony with a message and a call to action!

Even though I try not to fall and to live the right way, I often feel how the tiredness from everyday duties pulls me away from a life with God. Sometimes I lack strength, focus, or simply time, and that is when I realize my own weakness. Yet, despite all this, I see that God constantly shows me grace.  He does not turn away from me, even when I fail. He constantly draws me back to Himself—quietly, patiently, and with love.

It has been a year since I started looking for a serious job. My maternity leave was ending, and my son was starting preschool. I needed to transition smoothly into work without a drop in income, but at the same time, I wanted a job that would be the right one for me.
As a veterinarian, I could not imagine working in a clinic every day, on weekends, and in shifts. I also had the option to work as a representative for a pharmaceutical company, but driving across a large part of Slovakia did not attract me—I knew how mentally demanding it was. Still, I was ready to fight for a better future.

I went through four interviews with different managers. Stano, who leads our prayer group, prayed for my interviews so that the whole situation would be guided by God and that God’s will would happen in my life.

Today, a year has passed. My contract has changed to an indefinite period. I work as an inside sales consultant, using my DVM title, communicating with veterinarians in Slovakia and the Czech Republic—and all of it from home. It is something I couldn’t even imagine.

A job that perfectly fits my life with small children. It isn’t always easy—but which job is?
