Thanks to God’s Grace I lead a small Bible study group where we experience God’s amazing work and the power of prayer. A member of this group invited me to accompany him on a trip to Israel as his personal guide to visit places mentioned in the Bible. He paid the whole trip for me.

We were at the beach when it happened. He almost couldn’t get out of the water by himself and suddenly started to breathe heavily. He wasn’t able to speak and at first, we thought he just swallowed some water. He was very pale and there were visible dark circles under his eyes. His wife asked me to pray for him. What if he had a heart attack?

I laid my hands on him and started to cast out sickness in the name of Jesus Christ. He felt a lot better after a short while. He began to pack to leave the beach. He said that as he was swimming, he suddenly couldn’t see and he didn’t even know how he made it to the shore. He just remembered sitting on the shore, grunting, coughing, and unable to speak.

We asked him to go to the hospital but he didn’t want to. He was a doctor himself. At the hospital, every doctor was surprised this man was able to walk and speak because he just survived a heart attack. They wanted to admit him to the hospital but he refused. He explained to them that he himself is a doctor (principal), so they released him only at his insistence – at his own risk. He signed the papers and left the hospital.

On the following day, he was doing better and was able to drive home. At home, he and his wife praised God for everything. They understood it wasn’t a coincidence that he invited me to spend their holiday with them. It was a part of God’s plan.
