His recovery was complicated by hyperglycemia (high blood sugar), so we have been praying for his pancreas for a long time. According to medicine, type 1 diabetes mellitus is incurable. But we have experience that Jesus also cures “incurable” diseases.
Dominik is cared for by his girlfriend Vlasta, who noticed last year that it is not needed to inject insulin after every meal, as diabetics usually do.
They could even skip insulin for some days, and the glucose levels were as good as those of healthy people.
Currently, she only injects Dominik with minimal doses of insulin (2 or 3 units) given as needed 1x, 2x or 3x per day. As you can see from the graph, it is really not necessary to give insulin after every meal.
2 years ago, Vlasta was at the diabetes institute for education. At that time, they recommended giving Dominik 8 to 9 units (night insulin 7 units). Because the glucose values were higher at that time.
So we see in real time how his diabetes is gradually reversing.
Some doctors wonder if such an improvement is really possible. But we have been monitoring these values for a long time, and we see that they are gradually improving.
We learn to receive God’s help by faith, and because we are learning that, sometimes it is a longer process. But we do not give up, and we continue to pray.
We see that Dominik’s health is improving as he learns to walk with Jesus. He was previously an unbeliever, so he is slowly building a relationship with God and gradually learning to receive God’s help.
